Welcome to the website for The Dunbury Church of England Primary School. The Dunbury School is a voluntary controlled primary school with strong connections to local churches and is proud of its Christian heritage.
All of our bases have excellent accommodation, either in very recently re-built school buildings, or in a new, purpose built range of classrooms. To complement our wonderful classrooms we have beautiful outdoor spaces for learning and play. The school has outstanding facilities for ICT as well as a superb range of other resources. We have a dynamic and professional staff who place high value on children’s well being, enjoyment of learning and educational achievement.
We have high expectations for our children; for their academic, social and emotional learning. We believe in providing our chilldren with a rich and varied curriculum and with opportunities to develop skills and talents outside of the classroom, inlcuding through a wide range of clubs, schools visits (including residential trips) and other extra-curricular activities. We want our children to develop skills, knowledge and attitudes which will equip them well for their future lives and give them confidence as citizens in our rapidly changing world.
Our children are very happy coming to school and our 2008 Ofsted Inspection identified the children’s behaviour as outstanding. You are warmly invited to come and see for yourself, but if you are unable to do this then please request a Prospectus and have look at our school DVD.
